Linda Jean Lee

Linda Jean Lee, 80, of 14714 Park Ave. Ext., Meadville, formerly of 1324 Azalea Dr., Meadville, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Park Avenue Rehab. & Nursing Center, Meadville.

Linda was born in Jeannette, on April 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Albert and Ellen (Tharp) Krauscope.

She married Patrick F. Lee; he preceded her in death on July 13, 2001.

Linda retired as Supervisor of Quality Control for the former Multi-Tool and Plastic of Saegertown. She had previously been employed by C & J Industries, Erie Technological and Continental Rubber Works of Erie. A graduate of the former Edinboro College, Linda was a 1951 graduate of Meadville High School. While in high school, she was a member of the varsity band, marching band, jazz band and concert band. Linda was gifted in playing all of the different types of saxophones. For many years she was a member of the Rainbow Girls where she held the highest officer position. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Linda enjoyed reading, watching old black and white classic movies, watching the news and following current events.

Linda is survived by eight children Denise Stumpo, Christine Paszko, Susan Adams, William Sandusky all of Erie, Ellen Rydbom of Meadville, Maureen Buckley of Erie, Patrick Lee and his wife Krista of Pittsburgh, Christopher Buckley of Saegertown, fourteen grandchildren Robert, Elaina, Tony, Stephanie, Sean, Heather, Zack, Jordann, Brian, James, Christopher, Brandon, Patrick, Tiernan and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Patrick.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 3-7 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Pastor Philip Torre of First Assembly of God, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woman Services, Inc., 204 Spring St., Meadville, PA 16335.
