Linda Kay Harrison

Linda Kay Harrison, 80, of Saegertown, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, after a courageous 9-year battle with multiple myeloma.

Linda was born in Union City, on October 10, 1942, a daughter of the late Herman and Eila (Smith) Weed.

On June 1, 1963 Linda married Samuel S. Harrison; he survives.

She was an active member of Saegertown United Methodist Church.

In her younger years Linda was employed as an office clerk at Union City Hospital. She and her husband, Sam, enjoyed sixty years of marriage. They loved being outdoors together and raised their own beef, pork and vegetables. They also enjoyed dancing together especially line dancing and jitterbugging. Linda's interests were many which included decorating her home, doing crafts, reading, baking and playing the piano. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She loved sharing her life with them. They were very important to her and time spent with them was everything. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Sam, Linda is survived by three children Kelley Levis (Christopher) of Saegertown, Brooke Harrison (Linda) of Edinboro, Benjamin Harrison (Tresa) of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two sisters Barbara Courtright (Edwin) and Mary Lou Gay (Eric).

Family and friends are invited to call from 3:30-5:30 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Saegertown United Methodist Church, 620 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, where a Memorial Service will follow at 5:30 PM with Pastor Jeff Little officiating.

Linda will be laid to rest in Saegertown Cemetery.
