Linda Lee Repko

Linda Lee Repko, 78, of Saegertown, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Bickford of Presque Isle Bay, Erie, with her husband by her side.

Linda was born in Meadville, on November 29, 1943, a daughter of the late D. Elmer and Ruth (Rickel) Hershelman.

On February 26, 1999, Linda married Frank Repko; he survives.

Linda was a 1961 graduate of Saegertown High School. She played the trumpet as a member of the marching band and was honored to have performed at Soldier's Field in Chicago for the late President John F. Kennedy. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Linda began her working career in the lab at the former Meadville City Hospital before continuing her career at Coulter Analyzer, Inc. in Florida. Over the years she had also worked as an analyst at Greenleaf Corp., as a service rep, had overseen the operations of 35 labs, and finished her working career at Meadville Medical Center. She had attended St. Agatha Church. Her hobbies and interests included quilting, sewing, and working in her flower garden.

In addition to her husband, Frank, Linda is survived by a step son Chris Repko; two brothers Harold Hershelman, Newell Hershelman; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a son Larry Smith, her former husband Bill Jennings and a brother Jim Hershelman.
