Lonnie Jackson

Lonnie Jackson, 82, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

Lonnie was born in Chesterfield, SC, on March 20, 1938, a son of the late Walter Jackson Sr. and Agnes Ratcliff.

In 1984 Lonnie married Cindy Sharp; she survives.

Lonnie had attended Christ Evangelical Free Church, Saegertown. He had been employed in lawn maintenance, as a handy man, and as a cook and in the Meadville area. He was an Army veteran.

Lonnie is survived by a son Nolan Jackson of Meadville, siblings Mary Dice of Dunn, NC, Tiny Jackson, Magnolia Jackson, Diane Jackson, all of Benson, NC, Betrice Jackson of Florida, Walter Jackson, Jr. of Meadville, George Jackson of Lakewell, FL, Walter Sanders of Benson, NC, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lonnie was predeceased by sisters Sarah Well, Lisa Sanders and Mattie Jackson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2 PM at Christ Evangelical Free Church, 19682 Hill Road, Saegertown.
