Louise Cervone

Louise Cervone, 92, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville.

Louise was born in Derby, CT, on December 18, 1922, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Cancara) Quindardo.

On September 25, 1947 she married Charles A. Cervone; he preceded her in death on February 14, 2013.

She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Louise retired from Crawford Central School District where she had been employed in the Food Service Department. In her younger years, she was employed by the former American Viscose. She was a graduate of Meadville High School. Louise enjoyed baking, cooking and loved being with her family.

Louise is survived by a son Charles "Charlie" Cervone and his wife Patricia of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Charles of 65 years, Louise was preceded in death by two sisters Marion Petruso, Jeanette Petruso, and a brother Dominick Quindardo.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 14 from 10-11:30 AM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.

Following visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, with Fr. Matthew Kujawinski, Pastor, officiating.

Louise will be laid to rest next to her husband, Charles, in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
