Louise Jane Randolph, 100, formerly of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Clarview Nursing & Rehab Center, Sligo.
Louise was born in Meadville, on July 12, 1923, a daughter of the late Elmer Foster and Luella (Brenot) Roche.
On November 24, 1945 Louise married William Francis Randolph; he preceded her in death on December 31, 1978.
Louise attended the former St. Brigid Catholic School before graduating from Meadville Senior High School in 1941. In her earlier years she was employed by the former American Viscose, Westinghouse and Talon. In 1961 she became employed by the former Meadville City Hospital where she worked in various positions and retired as an Administrative Secretary after 30 years of service. Louise was a member of St. Brigid Church and following her retirement she worked funeral dinners, the rummage sale, fish dinners, and sang in the funeral choir. She was also a member of Meadville Medical Center Auxiliary and volunteered at the Meadville Soup Kitchen.
Louise is survived by a son William "Randy" Randolph, Jr.; a grandson William Randolph, both of Placerville, CA; many nieces and nephews including two loving and special nieces Beverly Pipher (Alvin) of Parker, Zita Sanner (Paul) of Cochranton.
In addition to her parents and husband William of 33 years, Louise was preceded in death by a son James F. Randolph; step mother Zita (Brenot) Roche; two brothers, her twin Alfred Roche (Opal), James Roche; step sisters Margaret Butler (Doyle Sr.), Cecelia Davis (Robert), Marian Ross (Harold), step brothers Edward Brenot (Jean), Carl Brenot (Madelyn); four nephews; and daughter in law Tamara Randolph.
Family and friends are invited to call from 2-4 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST. MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 4 PM with Fr. Kyle Seyler, Parochial Vicar, officiating.
Louise will be laid to rest next to her husband, William, in St. Brigid Cemetery.
