Lovell Enos King, 39, of 12746 McFadden Road, Guys Mills, went to be with the Lord Jesus, whom he loved and served, on Tuesday, June 27th, at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a 3 month battle with leukemia.
Lovell was born in Hutchinson, KS on June 11, 1978, a son of Calvin Daniel and Judy (Yoder) King.
On August 20, 2016 Lovell married Yvonne Rose Yoder, daughter of Ray and Anne Yoder of Guys Mills; she survives.
He was a member of Plainview Gospel Fellowship, Guys Mills.
Lovell started his early education in Kansas and graduated from Hillcrest Christian School, Harrison, Arkansas. Over the years Lovell had worked with the family lawn care business, provided care for the elderly and taught school. After moving to Crawford County Lovell delivered furniture for Home Wood Furniture and helped with maintenance and photography for Creative Resources Industries, Inc.
Lovell enjoyed photography and cooking, especially creating new recipes. He had a fascination with flying and enjoyed flying model airplanes, sharing that enthusiasm with children. Relationships were very important to Lovell and he will be remembered for his kindness and care towards family and friends.
In addition to his wife Yvonne of Guys Mills, Lovell is survived by his parents Calvin and Judy King of Harrison, AR, a sister Hadassa Beiler and her husband Carlin of Catlett, VA, three brothers Steven King and his wife Angela of China, Orlondo King and Nathaniel King both of Harrison, AR, three nephews and four nieces.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 29 from 6-8 and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Plainview Gospel Fellowship Church, 29386 Guys Mills Road, Guys Mills, where services will take place on Saturday, July 1 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Roy Hershberger officiating.
Lovell’s body will be laid to rest in the Plainview Gospel Fellowship Cemetery, Proper Road, Titusville.
