Lynne Diane Kline

Lynne Diane Kline, 73, of Guys Mills, passed away at home on Thursday, March 1, 2018.

Lynne was born in Pittsburgh, on October 28, 1944, a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Kerr) Vaughn.

On July 21, 1967 she married Calvin C. Kline and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past year.

Lynne was a 1962 graduate of Saegertown High School and was retired from Meadville Medical Center and Medquest, working as a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower gardens and caring for her animals, especially her border collies-a total of 13 that she loved and cared for. Lynne will be remembered as a caring, fun-loving person. She enjoyed laughing and it was her personality and "giving spirit" which made others happy. She was a member of Pleasantview Alliance Church, Saegertown.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin S. Kline and Letha Brant, who raised Lynne during the summers and holidays from the time she was 6 years of age until the age of 15 when Lynne moved to Saegertown. Lynne often called her "Mom" because Letha was caring and prayed for those close to her. Special friends of Lynne include Carole Foulk (Jerry), Beverly Taylor (Dick), David Kindervater (Vangi), Carol Lyn Kennedy (Charlie), Opal Seber, who is 103 years old and resides at Wesbury, and a newly found cousin, Robert Morrow (Ruth) of Snow Camp, NC.

Family and friend are invited to call on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 10:30-11:30 AM at Pleasantview Alliance Church, 16233 Hwy. 86, Saegertown, where a Memorial Service will take place at 11:30, with Pastor Keith Draa officiating.

Lynne and Calvin were very grateful for the kindness and care they received from the doctors, nurses and aides at Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute as well as to those at Hospice of Crawford County.
