Lynnette Sue Hamilton

Lynnette Sue Hamilton, 55, resident for most of her life at Polk Center, Polk, and for a short time at the Erie Homes for Children and Adults on North Street, Meadville, passed away peacefully, to be with the Lord God, at the Marquette Hospice House on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

She was born in Meadville to David and Lou Cinda "Cindy" (Shorts) Hamilton on February 19, 1966.

Lynnette enjoyed riding to outings and recreations. She loved, and was loved by all her helpers, over the years.

She is survived by her parents; her maternal grandmother Betty Shorts of Statesville, NC; a brother Gene Hamilton of Lynchburg, VA; a sister Brenda Hamilton of Brookville; two uncles Craig Hamilton of Meadville, Richard Shorts (Carolyn) of Statesville, NC; an aunt Robin Phillips (Glenn) of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Paul and Marie Hamilton; maternal grandfather William Shorts; and aunt Darlene Hamilton.

The family is so thankful for all of the wonderful caregivers Lynnette had over the years.

Lynnette will be laid to rest in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
