Marc T. Fox, 65, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020, at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh after a short illness with cancer.
Marc was born in Euclid, OH on November 24, 1954, a son of the late Milford and Jane (Fritinger) Fox.
On December 4, 1977, Marc married Karen J. Loughner; she survives.
Marc served as manager of Port Meadville Airport for 15 years, and was set to retire on September, 29, 2020. He had previously been employed by Elkem Metals in Ashtabula, OH. Marc earned his Bachelor's Degree in History from Edinboro University, having graduated Magna Cum Laude as an adult student. He was a 1973 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School. Marc was a member of Masonic Lodge #408 and of several area sportsman's clubs. He enjoyed hunting, shooting and the outdoors.
In addition to his wife, Karen, of 42 years, Marc is survived by a daughter Lisa Space (James) of Springboro and their daughter Madelyn; Hannah Fox (Scott McBryar) of Saegertown and their children Shelby, Juliannah, Hannah and Flynn, two sisters Susan Truesdell of Rochester and Gail Amolsch of Meadville.
In addition to his parents, Marc was preceded in death by a brother Dr. Thomas Fox.
Services are private.
