Margaret Ann Sackett

Margaret Ann Sackett, 83, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, formerly of Circle West, Meadville passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Margaret was born in Meadville, on November 22, 1935, a daughter of the late Frederick and Regina (Terry) Ezor.

On January 16, 1960 Margaret married Charles F. Sackett, Jr.; he survives.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church.

Over the years Margaret had worked for the former Loblaws, First District School cafeteria and Wesbury United Methodist Community in food service. She was a 1954 graduate of Meadville High School. Margaret enjoyed doing embroidery, watching TV, animals and being a member of the Eat N Travel Club with her husband.

In addition to her husband Charles of 59 years, Margaret is survived by a daughter Charlene Tinney (Michael) of Laurel, MD, a son Eric Sackett of Gaithersburg, MD, 5 grandchildren Bradley, Daniel, Victoria, Sean and Matthew.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 10-11 AM at St. Brigid Church Gathering Area, 383 Arch St., Meadville, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Lucas, Pastor, officiating.

Margaret will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch Street or Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, both in Meadville, PA 16335.
