Margaret "Peg" A. Walker

Margaret "Peg" A. Walker, 91, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, formerly of 10819 Timber Crest Dr., Apt. 203, Meadville, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015, at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.

Margaret was born in Kittanning, on February 10, 1924, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Snee) Tierney.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and in her early years had been employed by the former Joseph S. Finch Co. in Schenley for a period of ten years. She was a 1941 graduate of Kittanning High School.

Margaret is survived by a son Michael R. Walker and his companion Darlene Dimon of Meadville, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a brother William Tierney, four sisters Rose Tierney, Katherine Crawford, Sarah Bono and Martha Stitt.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

Margaret will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Twp.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
