Marian A Braymer, 90, of 17162 Siverling Road, formerly of 22729 Cannon Hollow Road, both of Saegertown, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, at home.
Marian was born in Meadville, on May 15, 1925, a daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Ehrgott) Borland.
On Nov. 25, 1947, Marion married Byrl E. Braymer; he preceded her in death on June 12, 2010.
She was affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
Marian met Byrl while working at the former American Viscose. They ran a dairy farm together while raising five children. Later on she worked in the school cafeteria in Saegertown. She was a 1943 graduate of Meadville High School. She was a great wife and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her hobbies included; being with family, playing cards, knitting, crocheting, putting puzzles together, building furniture out of wood, and traveling. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Marian is survived by four children Richard Braymer and his wife Linda, Robert Braymer and his wife Wanda, Alice McClymonds and her husband Seth, James Braymer and his wife Brenda all of Saegertown, 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, a son-in-law Scott McNamara of Meadville, a sister Helen Ohle of Greenville, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parent and her husband Byrl of 62 years, Marian was preceded in death by a daughter Ruth McNamara.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 4-7 at the Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut Street, Meadville. Committal Services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 9:30 AM at the Blooming Valley Cemetery. The family will also receive family and friends at Blooming Valley United Methodist Church on Monday, July 20 from 10-11 when A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM by Marian's grandsons, Rev. Seth McClymonds and Rev. Sam McNamara.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
