Marian M. Runyan

Marian M. Runyan, 85, of Cochranton, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Meadville Medical Center.

Marian was born in Meadville, on May 25, 1933, a daughter of the late Raymond and Roxanne (Stearns) Rhoades.

On March 26, 1952 Marian married Edwin Runyan; he preceded her in death on January 29, 2011.

Marian enjoyed being a homemaker and over the years had worked at the former Isaly's and Hollabaugh Strawberry Farm.

Marion is survived by a son Roger Runyan (Terri) of Carlton, two grandchildren Crystal Anderson (Michael), Corrine Hannaford (Matthew), five great grandchildren Sierra Hillwig, Alexis Nesbella, Michael Nesbella, Kayla Hannaford, Lindsey Hannaford, two great great grandchildren Rose, Axel, four sisters Martha Kline, Ruby Reed, Shirley Rhoades, Florence Rhoades, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Larry Runyan, an infant daughter Ann Marie and eight siblings Helen Nemeth, Clifford Rhoades, Ralph Rhoades, Russell Rhoades, Freda Mattocks, Jean Kline, Janet Rhoades and Ruth Richards.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 5-7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM.

Marian will be laid to rest with her husband, Edwin, in Peters Cemetery.
