Marion A. Petruso

Marion A. Petruso, 91, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, passed away Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville.
Marion was born in Derby, CT on October 29, 1918, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Cancara) Quindardo.
In September, 1937 Marion married Thomas A. Petruso; he preceded her in death in 1965.
She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
In her earlier years, Marion had been employed as a cashier by the former Krogers of Meadville. She was very devoted to her family.
Marion is survived by a son Ronald A. Petruso and his wife Bertha of E. Norriton, two grandchildren Michael Petruso, Dr. Kimberley Petruso, two sisters Jeannette Petruso, Louise Cervone and her husband Charles both of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Thomas of 28 years and her parents, Marion was preceded in death by a brother Dominic Quindardo.
At the familys request there will be no visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 8th, 2010 with Fr. Mark OHern, Pastor of St. Brigid, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
