Marjorie "Margie" Jeanette Bliscik

Marjorie "Margie" Jeanette (Dravecky) Bliscik, 63, of 579 Randolph St., Meadville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with liver cancer. She was surrounded by her family.

Margie was born in Cleveland, OH on August 9, 1951, a daughter of the late John and Marjorie (Park) Dravecky.

On June 4, 1977 Margie married James A. Bliscik; he survives.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

Margie enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. While living in Cleveland, OH, she was employed as a secretary for many years. She was a graduate of Strongsville High School, Cleveland, OH. Margie enjoyed antiquing, buying and selling items on ebay and vacationing in Niagara Falls. She will be remembered most as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, James, of 37 years, Margie is survived by two daughters Kelly Bliscik, Stacey Bliscik both of Meadville, five grandchildren Chelsea Bliscik and her fiance Andrew Butters, Christian Bliscik, MacKenzie Bliscik, Jeremy Bliscik, Matthew Gilbert, a sister Diane Dravecky of Meadville, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by a brother John Dravecky and a sister Cheryl Rejkowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2015, with Fr. Johnathan Schmolt, Pastor, officiating.

Margie will be laid to rest Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
