Marlene Ann Beisler, 81 of Bellefonte, formerly of Meadville, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at home with her family by her side.
Marlene was born in McKeesport, on July 2, 1943, a daughter of Edward Lynn and Elsie Ann (Sharbaugh) Dangel. On August 31, 1963 Marlene married George Philip Beisler, Jr.
Marlene was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose enduring legacy of love, faith, and commitment to her family and community will be cherished forever. She was an active member of St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church in Saegertown, where she was a CCD Teacher, Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Marlene and her husband also served as prison ministers for St. Bernadette's at the Crawford County prison.
In addition to her husband George of 60 years, Marlene is survived by four daughters Christine Ruth Masters (Robert) of State College, Michele Ann Beisler (Sharon DeLong) of Slidell, LA, Heather Marie Balsamo (Robert) of Janesville, WI, Erin Ann Triola (Stephen) of Farmington, NY; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister Irma Marie Dangel of State College; a brother Robert Charles Dangel (Debbie) of Sewickley; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by three brothers Edward Lynn Dangel, Jr., Allen James Dangel, and Howard George Dangel, and a great-granddaughter Leona Grace Gawlinski.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm at St. Bernadette Church, Renner Alley, Saegertown where a Memorial Mass of The Resurrection will be held at 11 am with Fr. Mark Hoffman, pastor, officiating.
Marlene will be laid to rest in St. Agatha Cemetery.
