Martha Mildred Trypus

Martha Mildred Trypus, 91, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, formerly of 1120 Market Street, Meadville, passed away Sunday, May 9th, 2010 at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville.
Martha was born in Donora on July 28, 1918, a daughter of the late Frank and Ida (Cieslak) Dzik.
On November 21, 1941 Martha married William B. Trypus; he preceded her in death on September 3, 1994.
She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
Martha had managed the former Triangle Shoe store for 20 years.
Martha is survived by three children Richard Anthony Trypus of Finleyville, William S. Trypus of Franklin, Rita N. Schellenger of Greenville, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two brothers Frank Dzik of Belle Vernon, Walter Dzik of St. Petersburg, FL, two sisters Louise Lendway of Pittsburgh, Annie Maise of Monessen, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband William of 52 years and her parents, Martha was preceded in death by two sisters Wanda Barkaszi, Theresa Zelasko, a brother Leo Dzik and a son-in-law Roland Mott.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 13, from 2-6 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335, where a scripture service will be conducted at 1:45 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2010, with Fr. Richard J. Toohey, Pastor of St. Mary of Grace, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, PA 16335.
