Mary J. Jenkins

Mary J. Jenkins, 84, of 110 Canfield St., Cambridge Springs, passed away Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 at Cambridge Springs Rehab & Nursing Center.

Mary was born in Oakmont, on November 28, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Franny (Harvitin) Yots.

In 1953 Mary married Frank Jenkins; he preceded her in death.

She was of the Roman Catholic faith and while living in Verona, had been a member of St. Joseph Church.

After 30 years of service, Mary retired as a collector for the Interstate Service Bureau of the city of Pittsburgh. She was a 1947 graduate of Verona High School. Mary loved reading, dancing, listening to music and attending the theater. She also enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Mary is survived by a daughter Marlene Jenkins and her husband Randy Bradshaw of Saegertown, one granddaughter Gabrielle Bradshaw of Saegertown and a brother Robert Yots of Penn Hills.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother Theodore Yots.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.
