Mary Jane Anthony

Mary Jane Anthony, 83, of 345 Addle Aly, Meadville, passed away Monday, October 1st, 2012 at home.
Mary was born in Meadville on January 29, 1929, a daughter of the late Peter and Frances (Battaglia) Simonetta.
She was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
Over the years Mary had worked throughout the Meadville area. She attended Meadville schools. Her hobbies included crocheting and playing BINGO. She loved her dogs but her greatest love in life was being with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by a daughter Rebecca Welsh and her husband James of Meadville with whom she lived, for the past 12 years, two grandchildren Shawn Young, Jamie Welsh, a sister Frances Donahue of Meadville, a sister-in-law Madeline Simonetta of Florida, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by five brothers Joseph Simonetta, George X. Simonetta, Dr. Russell J. Simonetta, Patrick L. Simonetta, John Simonetta, three sisters an infant Mary Simonetta, Rose Dispenza and Josephine Pietron.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 with Fr. Marc Solomon, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
