Mary L. Wilson

Mary L. Wilson, 92, of Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Meadville Medical Center.

Mary was born in New Kensington, on December 25, 1927, a daughter of the late Conrad and Josephine (Warriner) Heyer.

On August 19, 1949 Mary married David Wayne Wilson; he preceded her in death on September 16, 2009.

A hard worker all of her life, Mary enjoyed being a farmer's wife as well as raising her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. For many years she cooked meals for the priests and nuns at Divine Word Seminary in Girard. She liked to watch the birds as well as tend to her flowers. She enjoyed socializing at Active Aging where she regularly bowled and played pool. She had a good sense of humor and often commented that Santa Clause brought her down the chimney. Mary will be sadly missed.

Mary is survived by two daughters Sandra Mae Randolph (Martin) of Gibsonville, NC, Connie Lynn Manross of Saegertown; four grandchildren Holly Manross (Bud Curry), Matthew Randolph, Dr. Jason Manross (Clarissa), Kristen Randolph; two great grandchildren Jaxon Manross, Colton Manross; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, David, of 60 years, Mary was preceded in death by a great grandson Brayden James Curry; three sisters Catherine Lieb, Margaret Drew, Freda Kremer; two brothers Conrad Heyer and Clarence Heyer.

While following CDC guidelines, visitation will be held on Friday from 3-7 PM and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, Where Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM with Alice McClymond, Pastor of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, officiating.

Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband, David, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Vernon Twp.
