Mary 'Louise' Zuzolo, 80, of 3483 Curtis Avenue, Warren, Ohio, went to live with her Lord Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 8:55 p.m. at Meadville Medical Center, surrounded by her family after a long, courageous fight with complications from Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Louise was born June 25, 1932 in Florence, SC to Liston and Nolie (Crell) Taylor. She was one of 13 siblings; all of whom were very close. She attended schools in Florence, SC.
Louise moved to Meadville in 1952. She married William J. Gigogne in 1954. They resided in Meadville. He survives. She later married Michael A. Zuzolo and they resided in Warren, OH. He also survives.
Louise was a very hard worker. She was employed by the former Spencer Hospital, Meadville, GTI, Saegertown, and also the former American Viscose/Avtex. In later years she was a bar tender at Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. She lived life to the fullest and was very active. Her pastimes included crocheting, knitting and sewing. She was also a very avid gardener; taking great pride in her flowers as well as her vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and collecting angels. Louise loved to share all of her 'treasures' with everyone she met. She also took great pride in cooking for her family and friends. Her combination of warm southern drawl and wit, as well as her loving nature definitely left a mark on everyone she encountered and she will be greatly missed.
Louises pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her husband, Michael Zuzolo, of Warren, OH; her two sons, Jeffrey W. Gigogne and his wife Debbie, of Halethorpe, MD, and Dennis J. Gigogne and his wife JoEllen of Wheeling, WV, her step children, Theresa DeLuca of Vienna, OH, and Michael Zuzolo Jr. of Minneapolis, MN; and her previous husband with whom she was still very close, William J. Gigogne, of Halethorpe, MD. Louise is also survived by her grandchildren, Diana (Ned) Bunton of Fayetteville, NC; Christina (Jason) Clark of Fayetteville, NC; Jeremy (Cathy) Gigogne of Odenton, MD; Jessica Bloss of Meadville, Michelle Marchand of Indianapolis, IN; Pamela Gigogne of Meadville, and 'her baby boy' William A. Gigogne of Meadville, and her great-grandchildren; Victoria Gonzalez, Alison and Hunter Bunton, Devin and Taylor Clark, and Dominic and Cooper Gigogne. She is also survived by her siblings, Molette Taylor of Meadville, Geneva (Dennis) Ashby and Addie Mae Turner both of Florence, SC and Maude (Franklin) Hughes of Hemingway, SC, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family members and friends.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Liston and Nolie Taylor, her step-mother Bessie (Phillips) Taylor, her brothers Albert, Gilbert and Pervis, and sisters Matti Lee, Myrtle Lee and Alenne.
