Mary L. Yarosh

Mary L. Yarosh, 88, of Saegertown, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at home.

 Born Mary L. Sparling in Corry, on May 23, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary E. (Goodwill) Perry.

On June 26, 1959 Mary married Kalenik "Kal" Yarosh, Jr. in Beverdam; he preceded her in death on December 9, 2008. 

In her earlier years Mary served as pack mother for Cambridge Springs Boy Scout Pack #236. She loved sewing, quilting, taking pictures and mowing the lawn. Her enjoyment was planting, then watching her flowers grow, while adding to her flower gardens each year. Her fondest memory was of the trip she and her husband, Kal, took to Hawaii following their retirement. 

 Mary is survived by a son Lynn of Saegertown; a daughter Janet (Doug) of Cleveland, TN; a granddaughter Gabrielle "Gabby" of Cleveland, TN; several nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents and her loving husband, Kal, of 49 years, Mary was preceded in death by two daughters Rosemary May, Carol Ann and a grandson James "Jamie" Filegar.

 Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. 

Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband, Kal, in Cambridge Springs Upper Cemetery.
