Marylois Roth (Dimaria) Parise

Marylois Roth (DiMaria) Parise, 71, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Meadville Medical Center.

Marylois was born in Greenville, on May 3, 1952, a daughter of the late James Joseph and Clara (Roth) DiMaria.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Meadville.

A 1970 graduate of Meadville Area High School, Marylois attended Clarion State College and Robert Morris College. She furthered her education by graduating from Edinboro State College with her B.S. in Library Science, her M.Ed. in Reading and her Reading Specialist Certification. Her teaching career began at Clymer School District before moving on to Conneaut School District, and finishing her teaching career with Crawford Central School District, retiring in 2013.

In addition to her husband, John, Marylois is survived by her siblings James DiMaria and his wife Tara and their children Clarissa, Sophia; Louise Roth Rice and her children Anthony, Samuel, Elizabeth and granddaughter Layla; Paul DiMaria and his wife Samantha and their children Lauren, Joseph, Eli, Caleb; many cousins in both Roth and DiMaria families; and her beloved dog, Simon.

In addition to her parents, Marylois was preceded in death by a sister Claire Roth DiMaria; and her mother in law Stella Parise.

All family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate the life of Marylois which will be held from 1-3 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the home of her sister, Louise Roth Rice, 388 Baldwin St., Meadville.

Marylois will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
