Mia Rayne Thomas

Mia Rayne Thomas, 8, of Cochranton, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, at home, surrounded by her family.

Mia was born in Meadville, on August 5, 2013, a daughter of Dan and Amy (McElhaney) Thomas.

She was affiliated with Atlantic Avenue Church, Franklin.

Mia attended Cochranton Elementary School. She loved her outdoor activities, especially playing soccer for CCYSA, swimming, riding her bike and four wheeler, jumping on her trampoline, and playing basketball. When she could not be outdoors she enjoyed playing Roblox, doing everyone and anyone's make-up, watching and playing with Paw Patrol, playing with her Paw Patrol toys, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her sister and cousins. Mia was loved by many and will remain in our hearts forever.

In addition to her parents Dan and Amy (McElhaney) Thomas of Cochranton, Mia is survived by her sister Brooklynn Thomas; four aunts; five uncles; and 16 cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Vicki Lynn (Bair) McElhaney and paternal grandfather David Charles Thomas.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 11 AM - 1 PM and also from 4 PM- 7 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Brad Riddle of Atlantic Avenue Church, Franklin, officiating.
