Michael Bryan Easton

On July 6, 2020, Michael Bryan Easton went to be with his Lord and Savior.

Born June 1, 1947 in Meadville, to the late Joseph and Delores (Bulger) Easton.

He graduated from Meadville High School and entered the Marine Corps, serving two tours in Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge, he became employed at Kansas City VA Hospital. Besides helping numerous veterans there, he was responsible for saving the life of a 16 year old from a kidnapper. Michael later transferred to the Erie VA Hospital, from where he retired. For the next twenty years, Michael enjoyed hunting, small farming, and even built a house with help from his wife and very good friends. He was always very active in politics and was extremely proud of being an American Patriot.

Michael is survived by his children Michael, Erika, Joseph and Steven Easton; his wife Carol; a step son Gabriel Glass; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Patrick Easton and a sister Toni Gillingham.

Per Michael's wishes, no visitation will be held.

A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled later in the summer.

Michael will be laid to rest in Big Field Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Michael's honor.
