Michael J. Long

Michael J. Long, 58 of Conneaut Lake, died Monday, September 8, 2014, with his knees in the breeze and enjoying his life.

Michael was born on October 11, 1955 in Putnam, CT.

He spent his youth and younger years in Connecticut and attended Killingly High school.

Mike moved to PA and worked for S. Bryer out of Cochranton for the last 22 years as a communications lineman.

He spent every waking moment building motorcycles either in his garage or in his mind. His passion for building and riding motorcycles was only exceeded by his love and passion for his family. Mike raised four accomplished children and spoiled six grandchildren.

Mike was predeceased by his father Earl Long in 2011 and his best friend and brother Todd Long in 2013.

He is survived by his lifes love Tunie Bates of Ohio, his Mother Cecile and her husband Richard Barry of Palatka, Florida, a brother Earl Long Jr. and wife Susan of Connecticut, a sister Cindy Long of Connecticut, a sister Kathleen and her husband Mohamed Benjdid of Connecticut, a sister Susan Charboneau of Vermont, his daughter Susan Gingras of Connecticut and her four children, a daughter Leslie, her husband Matt and their children of South Carolina, a son Michael of Vermont and a son Joseph of Pennsylvania.
