Michael Lee Shilling

Michael Lee Shilling, 32, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
 
Mike was born in Meadville, on January 18, 1989, a son of William Lee and Lynn Ann (Blair) Shilling.
 
He was a 2007 graduate of Saegertown High School where he was a member of the Varsity Soccer Team.  Mike also loved playing soccer with Penncrest Travel Soccer, Indoor Soccer League and was a snow boarding enthusiast. He also enjoyed wrestling in his elementary years.  Mike was a member of the Saegertown United Methodist Church.  He had a passion for all animals especially his two pugs Kai and Tucker.  Mike had an interest in history and could be found watching documentaries about many subjects including WW II and Science Fiction. He enjoyed philosophical conversations!
 
In addition to his parents Will and Lynn Shilling of Saegertown, Mike is survived by his daughter Emelia Lynn Shilling and her mother Danielle Coppola of Meadville, a brother Thomas L Shilling (Andrea) and their children Lucy and Vinny of Lake City, maternal grandmother Myrna Blair of Meadville, loving aunts and uncles Matt Shilling, Susan Blose (Gary), Cathy Davis (Bill) and Char Steider, with whom he resided with in Carlton.

Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and step grandmother Robert Shilling and his wife Margaret, paternal grandmother Retta Shilling and maternal grandfather Charles Blair.

Family and friends are invited to call from 3 - 6 PM on Wednesday, January 27th at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 330 BROAD STREET, SAEGERTOWN, and also on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM where services will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Jeffrey Little, pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed.
