Mitchell John Maziarz, Jr.

Mitchell 'Mitch' John Maziarz, Jr., 68, of 10267 Circle W, Lot #81, Meadville, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.
Mitch was born in Meadville, on January 1, 1945, a son of the late Mitchell John and Audrey (Dillen) Maziarz, Sr.
He was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.
After 20 years of service, Mitch retired from PPG Industries. He had previously been employed by the former Avtex Fibers. A veteran of the US Navy, Mitch served his country from June 29, 1963 until his honorable discharge on June 17, 1967. He was a graduate of the former St. Brigid Elementary School and of Meadville High School. Mitch enjoyed the art of photography.
Mitch is survived by four children Mitchell Maziarz III and his wife Patty, Kristine Cox and her husband Erik, Jennifer Maziarz, Andrew Maziarz all of Meadville and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a scripture service will be conducted at 3:30 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, with Fr. Johnathan Schmolt, Pastor, officiating.
Interment with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006, will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
