Mobena "Beanie Mae" Jenkins-Harris

Mobena “Beanie Mae” Jenkins-Harris was born on December 12th, 1929 in West Memphis, AR.

At an early age the Jenkins family relocated to Meadville, PA, where she became a lifelong resident until she moved to Mountain View, CA and stayed for 23 years before finally settling in Pittsburgh six years ago.

Preceding her in death are her mother, Mobena Scott Jenkins and her father, John Jenkins Sr., as well as her sons, Chris Buchanan, Lester “Butchie” Buchanan and Willie Andrew “Tinky” Jenkins.

She is survived by her three-loving daughters Althea Buchanan of Chula Vista, CA, Hosezella Harris-Kelley of Pittsburgh, PA and Shannon Harris-Starkey of Pittsburgh, PA, as well as a brother John Jenkins Jr. of Harrisburg, PA and 6 grandsons and granddaughters and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 1-2 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Going Home Service will be held at 2 PM with Rev. Curtis Kyles officiating.
