Nancy K. Markwood

Nancy K. Markwood, 66, of Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Marquette Hospice House, Meadville.

Nancy was born in Erie, on April 25, 1955, a daughter of the late Paul and Martha (Moore) Frantz.

On October 12, 1979 Nancy married the love of her life Robert "Bob" Markwood; he preceded her in death on October 19, 1993.

Nancy graduated from Fort LeBouef High School in 1973 and soon began her employment with Greenleaf Corp, Saegertown, retiring in 2020 with over 40 years of service. Nancy loved the outdoors where she enjoyed working in her flower garden, fishing and canoeing. She enjoyed traveling to flea markets, garage sales and was active with her Relay For Life team "Family Affair". Nancy will be remembered for being the #1 band mom for the group "Go For Broke", her smiling face, but especially for being a good friend to all that she would come in contact. She will be missed.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Heather Wentz (Trevor) of Saegertown; a granddaughter Harley Bolvin (Devin); two brothers William Frantz (Sondra) and their family Jeff, John, Paul, Zeb, Patty and Sandra of Littleton, NC, David Frantz (Tina) and their children Carl, Michael and Dawn; two sisters Sue Robinson (Bill) and their family Heidi and Curtis of Rolling Meadows, IL, Jeri Sample and her family Patrick and Glenn III of Saegertown; a sister in law Patricia Frantz and her family Michael and John Paul of Centre, AL; in addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins who she remained close with throughout her life; many wonderful friends especially her dear friend Janelle Harrawood.

In addition to her parents and her husband Bob of 14 years she was preceded in death by a brother Jean Frantz.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the future which will be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 330 BROAD STREET, SAEGERTOWN, PA 16433
