Nancy L. Perrine

Nancy L. Perrine, 64, of Meadville, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at home with her family by her side.

Nancy was born in Meadville, on November 7, 1959, a daughter of the late Clyde Eugene and June Marie (Dunham) Rhodes.

On August 18, 1979, Nancy married John E. Perrine; he survives. 

She was a member of Barton Road United Brethren Church, Meadville.

In the fall following her 1977 graduation from Meadville High School, Nancy began her 43 year career with what was then known as Meadville City Hospital. Over the years she worked as a Ward Secretary, in the Radiology Department, in Medical Records, and most recently at Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute where she was employed as a CTR (Certified Tumor Registrar), retiring in 2021. In her high school years, she very much enjoyed working at Hank's Frozen Custard on the Conneaut Lake Road. Nancy loved her beach vacations, her motorcycle vacations, and attending concerts, especially those of the Avett Brothers. Her greatest joys in life were times spent being a Nana and time with family and friends. She will be most remembered for her sense of humor, her free spirit, and her love of life. She will be sadly missed. 

In addition to her husband, John, of 45 years, Nancy is survived by two sons Travis Perrine (Andrea) of Meadville, Eric Perrine of Philadelphia; one beloved granddaughter Daisy Marie Perrine; siblings Rhonda Kaye (Joe), Jim Rhodes (Partner Diana), both of Meadville; several nieces, nephews, including Noreen Mott, Jennifer Shaw with whom she was very close; many great and great great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1-4 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 4 PM with Rev. Randy Marketich of Barton Road United Brethren Church officiating.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the 3rd North Unit of Meadville Medical Center, as well as the staff of Yolando G. Barco Oncology Institute, especially Julie, Bethany and Sharon.
