Neil Fucci

Neil Fucci, 87, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Meadville Medical Center.

Neil was born in Meadville, on December 10, 1931, a son of the late Joseph and Louise Jeannie (Euliano) Fucci.

On March 9, 1949 Neil married Barbara Dawson; she preceded him in death on January 13, 2010.

Neil was an avid fisherman and golfer, having achieved a hole in one. He was a member of VFW Post #2006 and of the Italian Civic Club. Over the years Neil was employed at the former American Brake Shoe, the former Meadville Italian Bakery and the former East End Elementary School before retiring.

Neil is survived by three children Roseanne Everett (Elmer) of Conneaut Lake, Joseph Fucci (Erin), Debbie Muckinhaupt (Chuck) both of Meadville, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, three sisters Carmella "Jane" Gaglione, Joan Gilbert (James), Mary Merenda all of Meadville, two brothers Dominick Fucci, Jimmy Fucci both of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife Barbara of 60 years, Neil was preceded in death by a sister Madeline "Wowie" Steffanos and two brothers John Fucci and Joseph Fucci.

Neil was much loved and cherished by all his family. He will be sadly missed.

At his request, no services will be held.

Neil will be laid to rest with his wife, Barbara, in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
