Noah Wengerd, Jr., of Guys Mills Road, Meadville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his wife and family.
Noah was born January 4, 1930, to Noah and Emma (Miller) Wengerd in Middlefield, OH.
On November 28, 1963 he married Lizzie Ann Miller; she survives.
He is survived by four sons and four daughters Aden Wengerd (Juanice) of Blountstown, FL, Mervin Wengerd, Wilmer Wengerd (Clarellen) both of Meadville, Paul Wengerd (Wanda) of Guys Mills, Martha Gingerich (David) of Carlton, Susan Mullet (Milo) of Reedsville, WI, Ada Detweiler (Robbie) of Meadville, Ruth Hershberger (Roy) of Saegertown. He is further survived by 24 grandchildren, two sisters Emma Shrock of Middlefield, OH, Saloma Troyer of Munfordville, KY, brother in law Noah Mast, and sister in law Martha Wengerd.
He was preceded in death by a son Owen Wengerd, two infant grandchildren Konrad Kristopher Wengerd and Infant Baby Gingerich.
Noah was a member of the Guys Mills Amish Church. He was a life long farmer and he was loved by many.
Friends and family may call Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Nelson Yoder residence, 8115 Frenchtown Road, Cochranton, where the funeral will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, with Andrew Hostetler officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Frenchtown Amish Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
