Nona P. Diley, 87, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, formerly of 23170 Gravel Run Road, Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.

Nona was born in Erie, on July 15, 1926, a daughter of the late Glenn and Tillie (Boyce) Bowersox.

On April 27, 1946 Nona married Joseph W. Diley; he preceded her in death on November 7, 1998.

She had been an active member of Gravel Run Presbyterian Church where she sang in the church choir, served as an Elder, served as the church treasurer for over 25 years, was a representative to the General Assembly and sat on the board of the Presbyterian Home of NW PA for over 20 years. She had also served as a soloist for numerous weddings and funerals.

Nona enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a 1944 graduate of Saegertown High School and had attended Behrend College where she took classes in restoring antiques. Her other interests included oil painting and flower gardening.

Nona is survived by three sons Glenn R. Diley and his wife Mary of Woodcock Boro, James J. Diley and his wife Sharron of Saegertown, Donald T. Diley and his wife Nancy of Woodcock Boro, six grandchildren Tracy, Jasen, Shawn, Joseph, Katie, Daniel, six great grandchildren, three brothers Dorcy G. Bowersox of Guys Mills, Harry G. Bowersox of Saegertown, Larry G. Bowersox of Meadville, a stepbrother Daniel Patchell of Cambridge Springs, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Joseph of 53 years, Nona was preceded in death by an infant son, Russell, two brothers William Bowersox, Thomas Bowersox and a step brother Richard Bowersox.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 4-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Gravel Run Presbyterian Church, 17668 Price Road, Saegertown, with Rev. Donald H. Gordon, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will take place in Venango Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gravel Run Presbyterian Church, Rt 86 in Woodcock.
