Orville "Al" Floyd Stainbrook, 91, of 28 Forrest Ave., Meadville, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Meadville Medical Center.
Al was born in Saegertown, on April 29, 1928, a son of the late Floyd and Geraldine (Reagle) Stainbrook.
Al was employed as a semi truck driver for 41 years. A veteran of WW II, Al entered the US Navy on September 28, 1945 and served his country until his honorable discharge on April 21, 1949. He attended Saegertown schools.
Al is survived by five children Marian Stainbrook of Vallejo, CA, Neva Ann Ferraro (Roger) of Phoenix AZ, Michael Stainbrook (Sunny Carson) of Atlanta, GA, Ronald V. Stainbrook (Violeta) of Castro Valley, CA, Gary Allen Stainbrook of Conneaut Lake, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister Neva Belle Smith of Meadville, a brother Ronald A. Stainbrook (Paul Phillips) of Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Genevieve Mona and Ellen Mae Terrell.
Private viewing will be held.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:15 AM on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Greendale Cemetery where Al will be laid to rest with his family.
