Patrichia "Pat" A. Hood

Patrichia "Pat" A. Hood, 75, of 10125 Circle West, Meadville, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Meadville Medical Center.

Pat was born in Greenville, on May 25, 1943, a daughter of the late Robert P. and Gladys (Gill) Ammann.

She is survived by her companion of over eight years, Larry Redfoot, of Greenville.

Pat retired after 19 1/2 years with the Public Affairs Department of Allegheny College. For over 20 years she worked with West Mead Voter Registration and worked the election days. Her hobbies included sewing, making Christmas cookies and attending her Tuesday Girls Club events. But her greatest love in life was time spent with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.

Pat is survived by four children Karen L. Custard (Steve) of Conneaut Lake, Rhonda L. Woodrow (Russell), Robert C. Hood, Traci A. Clark (Tim, Sr.) all of Meadville, nine grandchildren Cass Custard, Codi Custard (Emily), Ty Custard, Russell Woodrow, Roy Ammann Woodrow, Kira Hood, Robert Hood, Tim Clark, Jr. (fiance Marlee Gilson), Ashley Clark, two great grandchildren Krichel Clark, Paytyn Clark, three sisters Emma Fordyce of Greenville, Gladys Rhoades (Richard) of Reynolds, Carol Cooper (Terry) of Greenville, her former husband of over 40 years Frederick Hood of Meadville, two brothers in law George Hood of Meadville, Ronald Hood of Connecticut, a sister in law Alberta "Sissy" Wentworth of Oregon, Darlene Gaines (Jim) of Colorado, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers in law John Fordyce and Charles "Tink" Hood, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 28, 2018, with Rev. Rebecca Patterson, Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.

Pat will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
