Patrick "Doc" Kevin Daugherty

Patrick "Doc" Kevin Daugherty, 67, of 732 Davenport St., Meadville, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Meadville Medical Center.

Doc was born in Ravenna, Ohio on December 17, 1951, a son of the late Robert and Ruth L. (Grammill) Daugherty.

A graduate of Meadville High School as well as Allegheny College, Doc spent most of life in Meadville. However he spent a year in Europe traveling and working at a brewery in Munich, Germany. He also worked as a fishing guide for three summers in Yellowstone National Park. Doc was a member of VFW Post #2006, the Meadville Club, Taylor Hose, the Meadville Elks and West Mead II. Doc really enjoyed spending time with his friends and riding his bicycle around Diamond Park (the wrong way).

Doc is survived by a nephew Roman Justin Daugherty, three grand nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Doc was preceded in death by a sister Mary Beth Daugherty.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Greendale Cemetery with Fr. Andrew Boyd, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
