Paul R. Bean

Paul R. Bean, 86, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center.

Paul was born in Franklin, on October 23, 1934, a son of the late Harry and Ruth (Karns) Bean.

On December 26, 1957 Paul married Janet Ehrgott; she preceded him in death on January 27, 2015.

He was a member of St. John's Community Church of God, Meadville.

A self employed automobile serviceman, Paul co-established Bean Auto Service in 1954, which he also co-operated. Paul was drafted into the US Army on September 17, 1957 and served his country honorably until his discharge on September 3, 1959. He was a 1954 graduate of Cochranton High School. Paul was a hard worker who enjoyed staying busy.

Paul is survived by three children Brian Bean of Meadville, Pauline Pituch of Union City, Roger Bean and his wife Lisa of Meadville, ten grandchildren Tiffany Myers and her wife Kristen, Richard Bean and his wife Tiara, Miranda Bean, Brandon Bean and his wife LeAnna, Raymond Pituch and his wife Bailey, Steven Pituch, Jacob Bean and his wife Sarah, Katelyn Bean, Janet Pituch, Elizabeth Bean, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, and his wife Janet, of 57 years, Paul was preceded in death by seven brothers Clark, Robert, Clare, Harry Wayne, Lawrence, Dale, John, four sisters Charlotte, Martha, Ruthann, his twin Margaret and a son in law Daniel Pituch.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12-2 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral services will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Jamey Huselton of French Creek Community Church, officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed.

Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife, Janet, in St. John's Cemetery, Union Twp.
