Paul K. Sutton

Paul K. Sutton, 75, of Saegertown, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

Paul was born in Titusville, on May 28, 1949, a son of the late Dorsey and Gertrude (Mealy) Sutton.

On December 13, 2014, Paul married Kathryn "Kathy" Stoke; she survives. He had previously married Betty Ann Semonavich in August, 1968; she predeceased him in May, 2007. 

He was a member of Saegertown United Methodist Church. 

A 1968 graduate of Titusville High School, Paul also attended Tech School in Wisconsin. He entered the US Navy on March 21, 1969 and served his country honorably until his discharge on 09/11/1974. Much of his service time was served aboard the destroyer ship USS Willard Keith (DD-775). Over the years, Paul was employed by the former Universal Cyclops later known as Cytemp, of Titusville, where he worked as a Roller in the hot mill. After the plant closed Paul worked various other jobs and the last being at the Titusville Walmart. Paul was a member of Saegertown Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, and working in his yard, always keeping it meticulous. 

In addition to his wife, Kathy, Paul is survived by two sons Jason Sutton and his children Braden, Haley, Logan and Jaxon of Titusville; Ashley Sutton (Kimberly) and their children Quinton, Felicia and Lyra of Conneaut, OH; two step daughters Amanda Proper (Barry) and their children five children Caitlyn Conner (Joseph Sterling) and their son Waylon, Clayton Connor (Amanda) and their children Colter and Cynthia, Raegan Proper, Jessica Proper, Braelyn Proper of Vienna, WV; Melinda Young (Philip) and their children Alexander, Andrew, and Abraham of Saegertown; his siblings Mary Anne Kopper (Thomas), Barbara Jeanne Gratowski (William), and Nora Lynne Kastor (Theodore) all of Titusville; a sister in law Pearl Sutton of Youngsville; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew Arthur Sutton (Heather) of Ohio; as well as his beloved pet, Molly.

In addition to his parents and his first wife, Paul was preceded in death by brothers Arthur Sutton, Sr. and Robert Sutton.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Saegertown branch of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD STREET, SAEGERTOWN, and also on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 10-11 AM at Saegertown United Methodist Church, 620 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Jeff St. Clair officiating. Full Military Honors will follow.

Paul will be laid to rest in Saegertown Cemetery.
