Randall “Randy” J. Beers, 68, of Saegertown, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community after an extended illness.
Randy was born on March 6, 1954, to Raymond L and Gertrude “Mae” (Flick) Beers in Brookville.
He was a 1972 graduate of Saegertown High School. After graduation, he pursued a life-long career in autobody repair. He worked at Weber Harris Ford for many years, both in the body shop and as body shop manager. He then went on to work as an appraiser for TCA Insurance and as body shop manager for Champion Ford in Edinboro.
Randy met his first wife, Mary Hasenkopf, in school, and they went on to marry in 1974. They had two children: Heather and Keri. After the two divorced, they remained lifelong friends. Randy then met and married Tamara (Lloyd) Parker on October 11, 1989. He and Tammy had two more children: Brandee and Jesse. Tammy preceded him in death on May 11, 2020.
Randy loved vacations and spent many happy days with his family in Myrtle Beach, Walt Disney World and Cedar Point. There wasn’t a roller coaster he wouldn’t ride or a beach he didn’t like.
Randy is survived by his children Heather Davis (Michael) of Cambridge Springs, Keri Trace (Jason) of Cocoa, FL, Brandee Beers (Reb Adkins) of Fairbanks, AK, Jesse Beers of Slippery Rock; two step daughters, Selena Parker (partner Kizzy Lane) of Meadville, Amber Parker (fiancé’ Jayme Cargo) of Meadville; two sisters, Carla Grossman (Ron) of Cochranton, Kimberly Alozie (AJ Seenarine) of Pittsburgh; a brother Allan Beers (Dang) of Fayetteville, GA: several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu a flowers, memorials may be made to Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
