Richard E. Jones

Richard E. Jones, 57, of 731 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at home surrounded by his family and those who loved him.

Richard was born in Warren, on March 4, 1960, a son of Richard W. Jones and the late Ruth (Soles) Jones.

On October 28, 1978, Richard married Alice Faye Seely; she survives.

Richard drove a tractor trailer for 33 years across the entire Continental United States and Canada. Since his teenage years he had a fascination with driving a truck, that passion continued through his entire adult life. For twenty years he worked for various trucking companies and for thirteen years was self-employed. Richard had a big heart and his generosity was spread throughout the country as he drove his semi. He was a NASCAR fan and an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He will be remembered for being a devoted husband, a loving father and caring grandfather. He will be missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout the country.

In addition to his wife Alice of 38 years, Richard is survived by his daughter Alexis Lenker and her husband Tylor of Saegertown, five grandchildren Conner Sevin of Grove City, Giavonna Williams of Oil City, Bradin Lenker, Olivia Lenker and Bowen Lenker all of Saegertown, his father Richard W. Jones of Pleasantville, a brother Bobby Jones and his wife Brenda of Titusville, two sisters Becky Stanton and her husband Michael of Lakeland, FL, Rhonda Craig of Pleasantville, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Jones.

At the family's request there will be no visitation.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty St., Meadville, PA 16335.
