Richard J. Jackowski

Richard J. Jackowski, 77, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center.

Richard was born in Pittsburgh, on September 7, 1946, a son of the late Richard and Josephine (Schlessman) Jackowski.

Following his high school graduation, Richard entered the US Army on November 6, 1964, and served his country honorably until his discharge on November 15, 1966. Richard worked as a barkeeper at the Duquesne Club for twelve years and later in sales. He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard, planting flowers, living in Florida and he loved the city of Pittsburgh, and his two pups Pugsley and Tegan. 

He is survived by his spouse Patricia Friend; also his son Richard Jackowski.

Private services will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Honors.
