Richard 'Rick' J. Brunot

Richard 'Rick' J. Brunot, 80, of 12747 Park Lane Dr., Meadville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at home.

Rick was born in Meadville, on August 31, 1934, a son of the late Ernest L. and Thelma A. (Prenatt) Brunot.

On September 26, 1959 Rick married Gloria Palma Allegretti; she preceded him in death on August 15, 2014.

He was a member of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

After many years of service, Rick retired from Millwright Pile Driver Local #1871. A veteran of the US Air Force, Rick entered active duty on September 11, 1951 and served his country honorably until his discharge on September 10, 1955. He was a graduate of Meadville High School. An outdoors man, Rick enjoyed hunting, especially with his son, Dean.

Rick is survived by two grandsons Austin Anthony Brunot Malone, Dalton Brunot both of Missouri, two sisters Joan Partridge of Franklin, Patricia Cooper and her husband William of Conneaut, OH, three brothers Robert D. Brunot and his wife Louise, Daniel P. Brunot and his partner Darlena Hudacky, David E. Brunot and his wife Christine all of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Gloria, of 54 years, Rick was preceded in death by a son Dr. Dean 'DJ' Brunot and a sister Ruthanne Thompson.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church at a future date, which will be announced.

Rick will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.

Arraignments are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
