Richard T. Williams

Richard T. Williams, 69, of 601 Washington St., Meadville, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Meadville Medical Center.

Richard was born in Jamestown, NY on July 1, 1948, son of the late Cecil and Georgia (Cox) Williams.

After more than 30 years of service, Richard retired in 2015 from Hafer Trucking. He enjoyed working,having a beer with his friends, looking after his dogs Molly and Clancy. Dick was extremely happy when his Diesel Ford F350 was up and running.

Richard is survived by a daughter Tammy Williams, Meadville, a son Tyson Williams (Lisa), Ohio, two grandchildren Emily and Jaron, his companion Catherine Stevens, Meadville, his "third" child Tanya Newsome (Damon) Meadville, three step grandchildren, a sister Pauline Stoddard, Steamburg, NY, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Bucky Williams, three brothers Edward, Cecil Jr. and George Williams.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 5-7 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 7 with Pastor Rich King officiating.
