Robert A. Lybarger

Robert A. Lybarger, 82, of 11502 Dawn Drive Meadville, formerly of German Rd., Saegertown, passed away Thursday, December 13th, 2012.
Robert was born in St. Louis, MO on September 4, 1930, a son of the late Freeman and Irene (McKinnon) Lybarger.
On August 1, 1953, Robert married Ruth M. Shelenberger; she survives.
He was affiliated with Christ Evangelical Free Church, Saegertown.
After 35 years of service, Robert retired in 1996 as Plant Manager from Saegertown Manufacturing. A veteran, Robert entered the US Navy on January 5, 1951 and served his country until his honorable discharge on October 25, 1954. He was a 1949 graduate of Meadville High School.
In addition to his wife, Ruth, of 59 years, Robert is survived by a sister Ruth Watson of Saegertown, a brother James Lybarger of Killeen, TX, numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Lybarger, a brother, Leroy Lybarger and a sister, Ruby Sheldon.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 16, from 2 - 5 PM at the Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad Street, Saegertown.
Services will be private at held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Jeff Wilson, Pastor of Christ Evangelical Free Church, Saegertown officiating.
Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Free Church 19682 Hill Road Saegertown, PA 16433.
