Robert "Bob" C. Riordan

Robert "Bob" C. Riordan, 79, of Meadville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, with his wife by his side.

Bob was born in Meadville, on June 2, 1944, a son of the late Frank and Irene (Frey) Riordan.

On April 22, 1978 Bob married Linda L. Powell; she survives.

Following his 1963 graduation from Meadville High School, Bob attended Penn State Behrend for two years. After working at various tool shops in the area, in 1979 Bob established his own Tool and Die Shop, Trio Tool and Die. In 1999 he expanded to start Trio Plastics, retiring in 2010 due to declining health. In 2014 he sold the businesses. He was a lifetime member of Meadville Elks BPO #219. Bob was an avid Cleveland Indians and Penn State fan. He loved hunting and traveled throughout the US and as far away as New Zeland for his hunts. Bob will be remembered as a life long hard worker and and a wonderful husband for 45 years. He will be sadly missed.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Laurie Riordan, three brothers Dick, Bill and Clarence Blackford.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

Bob will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
