Robert L. Kelly

Robert L. Kelly, Jr., 67, of 22016 Russet Dr., Meadville, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

Robert was born in Meadville, on March 22, 1950, a son of the late Robert L. and Beatrice (Schwabenbuer) Kelly, Sr.

Over the years Robert was employed by Allegheny College, the former Meadville Malleable and Conneaut Lake Bark Park. Robert entered the US Army on September 26, 1969 and served his country honorably during the Vietnam Conflict until his discharge on April 3, 1972. He was a 1968 graduate of Meadville High School. An outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with this grandchildren.

Robert is survived by four children Robert L. Kelly, III and his wife Amanda of Ashville, OH, Dustin A. Kelly of Meadville, Traci Metzler of Pittsburgh, Staci Peterson of Erie, six grandchildren Nyles, Rayla, Bianca, Evelyn, Daman, Elliott and a sister Gloria J. Paulitz and her husband Dan of Sharon.

Robert was preceded in death by a brother Francis Kelly.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.
