Robert Lewis 'Bubbles' Burnett

Mr. Robert Lewis 'Bubbles' Burnett, 70, of 1129 S. Main St. Meadville, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.

Robert was born in Zebulon, GA, on April 22, 1943, the son of the late K.C. and Ida (Ruth) Burnett.

On April 25, 1963 Robert married Annie Lou Larkins; Subsequently on December 24, 1978 he married Dianna Lynn Galbraith; she preceded him in death on June 3, 1993.

He was a member of St. Johns Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, Meadville.

In 1977 Robert left Meadville and moved to Las Vegas, NV where he had been employed as a poker dealer for 31 years, retiring in 2005. He previously had been employed by PPG for seven years and by the former Meadville Malleable for nine years. He was a 1962 graduate of Meadville Senior High School.

Robert is survived by five children Robin Denise Click and her husband Jack Click, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Jean Marie Galbraith McQueen and her husband Chad McQueen of Los Angeles, CA, Patrick Lewis Burnett of Erie, Jamie Byers of Columbus, OH, , Marie Antoinette Larkins and her husband Mike of Aiken, SC, 14 grandchildren, four sisters Betty Jenkins of Harrisburg, Melissa Burnett of Meadville, Melinda Brown and her husband Ross, Millicent Burnett both of Pittsburgh, five brothers Eddie Joe Burnett and his wife Debra , Melville Gene Burnett, Marvin Burnett and his wife Deborah all of Meadville, Marshall Burnett and his wife Jodi of Turner Falls, MA, Wayne Burnett and his wife Connie of Erie, his former wife Annie Larkins, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife Dianna, Robert was preceded in death by a daughter Stacy Lynn Knight, his parents, three sisters Elizabeth Burnett, Ganelle Burnett Brown, Ann Ruth Smith, and a brother Winfred Morris Burnett.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 7, 2013, from 1-2 PM at St. Johns Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, 792 N. Main St., Meadville, where a Going Home Service will be held at 2:00 PM with Bishop Stanley K. Smith, Pastor, officiating.
