Robin Lynn Wyant, 50, of 8384 Schreck Rd., Meadville, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, at home.
Robin was born in Union City, on December 25, 1966, a daughter of George and Patricia (Potts) Humes.
On May 3, 1996, Robin married Scott A. Wyant; he survives.
Robin was employed as Administrative Assistant to the Plant Manager of Lord Corporation, Saegertown, where she began her employment working in the lab. She had previously been employed for a period of 17 years in the payroll department of Channellock Corporation where she worked her senior year as a member of the Co-Op Program, then becoming a permanent employee. For the past five years Robin was a participant and strong supporter of her Relay for Life Team "Family of Heroes". Robin looked forward to her beach vacations and loved her time spent there. Her greatest love in life was being "mamaw" to her beloved grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
In addition to her husband, Scott, of 21 years, and her parents, Robin is survived by three children Meagan C. Nichol and her life partner Thor Harper of Hadley, Tyler J. Nichol, Makala S. Wyant, both of Meadville, two grandchildren Zander Nichol, Ethan Stivanson, three sisters Lori Lilly and her husband Daniel, Geri Sexton and her husband John both of Venango, Jessie Humes of Meadville, two brothers Shawn Humes and his wife Jennifer of North East, Andrew Humes and his wife Pamela of Cambridge Springs, her father in law and mother in law Alan and Linda Wyant of Centerville, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents George and Paulene Humes, maternal grandparents Stella and Anthony Humes.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 330 BROAD ST., SAEGERTOWN, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2017, with Pastor Raymond Fate of Taylor Stand Bible Church, Centerville, officiating.
Robin will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society C/O Relay for Life "Family of Heroes" Team, 2115 W. 38th Street, Erie, PA 16508.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of The Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute as well as all the staff of Hospice of Crawford County for the tender and loving care they provided.
